Iran Dominates Morocco in U21 Volleyball World Championship Match

Iran, the defending champion, beat Morocco in two sets (25-9, 25-14, 25-13) on Tuesday, September 28, in the U21 Volleyball World Championship.
The Moroccan volleyball players record a new defeat. They lost their match against Iran last Tuesday. The latter will meet Thailand on Wednesday in pool G. Last week, Argentina had beaten Morocco 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-23).
The size of the Moroccan team was reduced to 9 upon the players’ arrival in Italy. While they were supposed to take an internal flight between Milan and Sardinia, Soufiane Dkhissi, Abdallah Sadil and Noureddine Khayati, three players from the U21 Moroccan national volleyball team, fled->86704. An act condemned by the Royal Moroccan Volleyball Federation.
The U21 Volleyball World Championship is taking place from September 22 to October 3 in Italy (Cagliari and Carbonia) and Bulgaria (Sofia). The Lions are housed in group C, along with Iran, Belgium and Argentina.
