Interpol-Wanted Danish Gang Member Arrested in Morocco for Violent Crimes

A Danish criminal who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol at the request of the Danish authorities has just been arrested in Marrakech. The facts for which he is wanted show that he is dangerous and violent.
According to a statement from the DGSN (General Directorate of National Security), this criminal is wanted (by the Danish authorities) for alleged membership in an organized criminal gang and for serious assault and battery in the context of score-settling between several Danish criminal networks.
In Morocco, he entered illegally by usurping the identity of another Danish national. As a result, this 30-year-old individual was arrested for identity theft, illegal entry into Morocco, and his involvement in a case of document forgery. It was only then that the Moroccan authorities discovered that he was wanted by Interpol. The red notice concerning him had been issued since November 22, 2018.
According to the same statement, this man has been placed in custody pending the investigation, and the Danish authorities have been informed of the arrest. The Moroccan authorities must first examine the extradition procedure.
