Interpol Fugitive Arrested in Morocco: Frenchman Wanted for Attempted Murder and Drug Trafficking

The elements of the prefectural service of the judicial police of Tangier proceeded, on Monday, April 20, 2020, to the arrest of a 41-year-old Franco-Algerian, in execution of an international arrest warrant issued against him by the French judicial authorities. He would be involved in an attempted murder and drug trafficking.
The person concerned was arrested in execution of a red notice issued against him by Interpol in 2017, at the request of the French judicial authorities, for his alleged involvement in an attempted murder and drug trafficking on French soil, specifies the DGSN in a press release.
Pending the examination of the extradition procedure, the defendant was placed in custody. The competent French authorities have already been informed of this arrest.
