A 27-year-old Franco-Guinean, subject to an international arrest warrant issued against him by the French judicial authorities, was apprehended in Tangier following a case of criminal conspiracy and attempted voluntary manslaughter.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the defendant was arrested in a hotel establishment in the city of Tangier.
His arrest came after the identification operation revealed that he was the subject of a red notice for his alleged involvement in an attempted voluntary manslaughter with a firearm committed by members of a criminal gang to which the suspect belonged in Nantes (France), the DGSN specifies.
