French Fugitive Wanted for Murder Arrested in Morocco After Interpol Alert

The judicial police of Casablanca arrested a French national on Thursday, in execution of an international arrest warrant issued against him by the French judicial authorities. This 24-year-old is suspected of being involved in a case of voluntary homicide with a firearm.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the individual in question was the subject of a red notice issued by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) for his alleged involvement in a case of voluntary homicide with a firearm in a settling of scores between criminal networks, during the month of November last.
The competent French authorities have been notified, the extradition procedure has been initiated, adds the same source.
This achievement of the DGSN is an example of international security cooperation against cross-border crimes in order to track down people wanted internationally, welcomes the press release.
