International Arrest Warrant Issued for Ex-Wife of Moroccan Kickboxer in Fraud Case

French national Taline Sarkissian, the ex-wife of former Moroccan kickboxing champion Zakaria Moumni, is subject to an international arrest warrant for "complicity in fraud".
According to judicial sources, Taline Sarkissian, the ex-wife of former Moroccan kickboxing champion Zakaria Moumni, is the subject of an international arrest warrant for "complicity in fraud", reports Hespress. The issuance of this warrant follows a series of revelations by several Moroccan and foreign media, on the fraudulent attempts and maneuvers of the two accused persons to extort undue funds from a state. To achieve their ends, they resort, the same source believes, to blackmail.
The couple divorced in 2017. Taline Sarkissian resides in France. As for her ex-partner, he left the hexagon for Canada, where he applied for political asylum because he feels threatened in the country of Emmanuel Macron. "My life is threatened in France, I escaped an attempted assassination with a firearm and a knife in the name of King Mohammed VI and in the name of his private secretary and the director of Moroccan counterintelligence. The French government refuses to protect me," he had declared to the channel TVA Nouvelles.
