French-Tunisian Fugitive Arrested in Morocco on Armed Robbery Charges

A Frenchman under an international arrest warrant issued by the French authorities was arrested by the police in Saidia, announces the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
In a tweet, the DGSN states that the Franco-Tunisian was wanted for "his participation in a theft with or under the threat of weapons".
In recent years, many individuals wanted by France had taken up residence in Morocco before being arrested. The latest is Sofiane Hambli, one of the biggest drug barons in recent years in France. The man had been arrested following his admission to a clinic in Tangier following a violent assault. After leaving the hospital, he was extradited to France.
