InterContinental to Open Luxury Hotel in Morocco’s Capital Rabat

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has just signed an agreement with Immohold Hospitality for the opening of the InterContinental Rabat in the first quarter of 2022. This agreement allows the group to lay the foundations for its ambitious projects in Morocco.
This 5-star luxury hotel will be located in the heart of the capital, not far from several embassies and consulates and government institutions. It will have 156 high-end rooms of 950 m², meeting rooms and large health and fitness facilities. Customers will be able to enjoy a varied cuisine from five distinct destinations ranging from authentic to contemporary.
Proud to sign this agreement signed with IHG, a leading brand in the hospitality sector, Cheikh Ali Al Shehri, owner of Immohold Hospitality, remains "convinced that the strategic location of the company, combined with the characteristic hospitality of IHG, will effectively meet the needs of the modern business and leisure traveler visiting the city of Rabat." According to him, "our partnership will be a success and we look forward to opening our doors in the near future."
In total, 116 hotels are managed by the group and they are spread over 7 brands in the Middle East and Africa, including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, voco and Six Senses and 53 others under development whose opening is scheduled in the next three to five years.
