English Fund Actis Acquires Four Seasons Marrakech from Saudi Prince

The Four Seasons Hotel in Marrakech has been sold to the English fund Actis and the Ugandan Moez Mangajli.
Its former owner, the Saudi billionaire Prince Waleed Ibn Talal of Kingdom Holding Investments also holds the assets of the Four Seasons in Casablanca, reports Economie et entreprises.
According to the new buyers, the hotel will now bear one of the brands in the portfolio of the Westmont Hospitality Group, owned by Moez Mangajli.
In addition to the Four Seasons Marrakech, the Actis group had bought the Sheraton hotel in Casablanca for 400 million dirhams, which will bear the Marriott brand.
It should be recalled that Actis and Westmont Hospitality Group have been active for a few years in the development of luxury hotels on the African continent. To date, WHG manages more than 500 hotels worldwide.
