Moroccan Star Ziyech Set to Join UAE’s Al-Nasr After Galatasaray Struggles

Struggling with Galatasaray, Hakim Ziyech seems poised to bounce back in the United Arab Emirates. According to several local sources, the Moroccan international has reached an agreement with Al-Nasr, who have just released his compatriot Adel Taarabt, who has moved to Sharjah FC.
Ziyech, whose lack of playing time has kept him away from the national team, has only made 11 appearances this season, split between the Turkish league and the Europa League. His stint in Turkey, first on loan in 2023 and then a permanent transfer in 2024, has been marked by recurring injuries that have slowed his integration.
The former Chelsea player is expected in Dubai shortly to undergo a medical examination, a crucial step in finalizing his transfer. His physical condition, which has often been problematic in recent months, requires a certain caution before the official signing.
The Emirati club, which wanted to strengthen its squad with an experienced player, would have held protracted discussions before obtaining the Moroccan’s agreement. Other teams, including LOSC Lille, had also shown interest in his profile, but it is ultimately towards the Emirates that Ziyech is heading.
