The lifeless body of the Moroccan found at sea in Ceuta on Wednesday was buried on Thursday in the Sidi Embarek cemetery. It would be that of Youssef Horous, according to his family who were able to identify him. The judicial police are awaiting the results of the DNA test to confirm the family’s version.
Some 5,000 migrants, mostly those who arrived in mass on May 17 and 18, continue to wander the streets of Ceuta. The borders with Morocco also remain closed until the end of this month, pending a hypothetical reopening.
