Far-Right Spanish Party Warns of ’Identity Loss’ in Border Cities with Morocco

The Vox party, through the voice of its deputy in Ceuta, Teresa López, insisted on Friday on the need for Spain and the European Union to strengthen security at the borders with Morocco in order to effectively fight against illegal immigration which, according to her, is increasing in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
The Vox deputy from Ceuta drew attention, during her intervention at the conference organized by her party on the theme "Southern Border: Illegal Immigration and Islamism", to "the loss of Western and Spanish identity" that Ceuta has been suffering "for a long time". "In the autonomous city, there is a growing Moroccanization and our mission is to stop this globalist and multicultural fraud that has been imposed on us," said Teresa López.

The parliamentarian denounces the massive illegal immigration that "harms the stability and development of Ceuta and Melilla in recent decades". She also disapproves of "the open migration policies implemented by the European Union and fully assumed by Spain", which have exacerbated the situation in the two autonomous cities.
López regrets that "Spain has not measured the extent of this problem in order to resolve it as a priority and in a methodical manner". She takes a dim view of Spain’s migration policy, which relies on Morocco, which has become "its main support in terms of migration control and border security".
