Far-Right Vox Party Slams Spanish Government’s Inaction on Ceuta and Melilla Tensions with Morocco
The Vox party continues to denounce the passivity of the Spanish government in the face of Morocco’s "attacks" on Spanish territorial integrity and its intention to annex the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
For the far-right formation, relations with Morocco must be considered from the angle of confrontation and not of cooperation, denouncing the inaction of Pedro Sanchez’s Executive in the face of Moroccan threats and attacks. "The government continues to bow down to a growing neighbor. Months go by and it really does nothing to reverse the situation in which Ceuta and Melilla find themselves, which are being suffocated by Morocco," denounced the Vox deputy from Ceuta, Tersa Lopez.

Vox recalls that Morocco has implemented a policy of blockade against the two autonomous cities, even before the occurrence of the health crisis that led to the closure of the borders. A policy of "isolation and economic suffocation" of Ceuta and Melilla which shows that Morocco is working to "annex" skillfully the two enclaves without resorting to armed force, explains Vox.
