Ikea Recalls Children’s Bibs Over Choking Hazard Concerns

The Swedish Group, Ikea, called on its Facebook page and in a press release published on its website, its customers who have purchased the red and blue "MATVRÅ" bibs, to stop using them and return them to the Ikea store for a full refund or exchange.
"A precautionary measure," announces the Group, specifying that this product has a button that poses a risk for the youngest.
While reassuring about the seriousness with which it produces its articles, it says it has received information that the button on the MATVRÅ bib could come off and pose a risk of choking for children.
It is therefore concerned about the safety of its customers that the Group has decided to recall the children’s bib, "MATVRÅ", as a precaution, it is explained. Customers wishing a refund or exchange will not have to provide proof of purchase, according to the Group’s details.
