The Tanger Med group is working on the implementation of a project to develop a large outlet in Tetouan. According to L’Économiste, the work, which will be carried out on 30 hectares, will be completed by the end of this year.
It is on this outlet that the Ikea company will erect its second store, covering an area of 4 hectares. The activities of the new store will start in 2021.
Ikea’s first store in Morocco is located in Casablanca, on an area of 27,000 m². With a total investment of 450 million dirhams, Ikea Casablanca is one of the "most relevant in the world with solutions adapted to the tastes and needs of Moroccans."
