Iconic Moroccan TV Host Brahim Salaki Dies at 64, Leaving Legacy at 2M Channel

The Moroccan journalism is in mourning with the loss of Brahim Salaki, an iconic figure of national television. At the age of 64, he lost his long battle against illness and passed away this Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Salaki was one of the pioneers of 2M and had a deep and clear voice that captivated generations of viewers. As a great film buff, he hosted cultural programs such as Ciné-Thème and the unforgettable Cinéstar. But it was especially his Nammadij program that left a mark on people’s minds.
