Iconic Casablanca Sheraton to Undergo $50 Million Renovation

A major renovation project is in the works for the 4-star hotel, the Sheraton Casablanca, for a total amount of $160,000 per room.
The new owners of this hotel establishment, the British Actis and the Canadian Westmont Hospitality Group, intend to implement a detailed business plan that will include a complete renovation, indicates Actis, the largest Private equity fund operating on the African continent.
According to the same source, the deal and the refurbishment of the hotel will cost an envelope of around $50 million.
