Hundreds of Moroccan Pilgrims Stranded at Casablanca Airport as Mecca Flight Delayed 16 Hours

A bad surprise for more than 400 Moroccan pilgrims at Casablanca airport. Their flight to Mecca, scheduled for this Friday morning at 3:40 a.m., has been delayed by 16 hours, until 8:00 p.m. this evening, barring any last-minute problems.
Arriving from all over Morocco, these pilgrims have spent the night at the airport, tired and worried. They received no explanation for this unexpected delay, reports Al Ahdath.
This Friday morning, they were told that their flight had been delayed until 8 p.m. this Friday evening, and in the absence of any confirmation of this long wait, they were ordered to leave the boarding lounge.
For some pilgrims, the situation is even more difficult, as they are in a state of ihram, the ritual of entering pilgrimage that imposes strict restrictions.
