Royal Air Maroc Passengers Stranded for Days at Istanbul Airport After Multiple Flight Cancellations

Passengers on a Royal Air Maroc flight have been stranded at Istanbul airport in Turkey since Saturday. The airline has repeatedly canceled their flight to Morocco, leaving them abandoned.
Moroccan passengers are angry with Royal Air Maroc for having already spent 72 hours waiting at Istanbul International Airport in Turkey, due to the cancellation of their flights to Morocco. While they were supposed to board for Morocco on Saturday at 2:40 pm, passengers were informed at the last minute that the flight had been postponed to the next day, Sunday at 2:10 pm.
During this long wait, passengers say they were not taken care of by the Moroccan airline. Some claim to have spent the night on the floor of Istanbul airport. But their troubles were not over. The flight scheduled for Sunday was postponed again to Monday at 4:00 am, forcing the passengers to spend a second night on site.
On Monday, the Moroccans were unable to board for Morocco, as Royal Air Maroc had postponed the flight again, without however giving the reasons for these cancellations or ensuring the care of the passengers who have been stranded at Istanbul airport since Saturday. "It’s a shame," an outraged Moroccan passenger told Alyaoum24.
The passengers expressed their anger and denounced the lack of consideration of the company towards them. The passengers, including minors, say they are suffering from this long wait. This situation is detrimental to some of them who had professional commitments in the kingdom.
