Royal Air Maroc Strands Passengers in Casablanca Due to Overbooking

Royal Air Maroc left about ten passengers stranded at Casablanca airport on Thursday afternoon, despite their valid tickets for a flight to Paris.
The Moroccan airline refused to board these passengers on flight AT750, scheduled to take off at 4:50 pm for Orly airport, citing an overbooking problem.
This decision provoked the anger and incomprehension of the passengers concerned, who expressed the prejudice caused to the image of Morocco, particularly in the context of the country’s preparation to host major sporting events such as the Football World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations.
The passengers left on the ground demanded boarding refusal certificates in order to preserve their rights and are considering taking legal action to obtain compensation.
