Heavy Thunderstorms and Strong Winds Expected Across Morocco on Sunday

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts heavy showers sometimes thunderstorms accompanied by fairly strong gusts of wind tomorrow, Sunday, December 11, 2022, in several provinces of the kingdom.
Heavy showers sometimes thunderstorms (30 to 70 mm) are expected in the provinces of Larache, Fahs-Anjra, Ouezzane, Tétouan, Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Tanger-Assilah, Taounate, Kénitra and Sidi Kacem, Sunday from 5am to 7pm, indicates the DGM in an orange level alert bulletin.
Similarly, fairly strong gusts of wind (50 to 70 km/h) will be recorded in the Tanger region, the plains north of Essaouira, the Saiss and the western Rif.
