Severe Weather Alert: Morocco Braces for Thunderstorms, Hail, and Dust Storms

Heavy thunderstorms with hail and strong gusts of wind with dust storms are expected this Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has warned.
Heavy thunderstorms ranging from 25 to 35 millimeters with hail will affect, Sunday from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Guercif, Berkane, Nador, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt and Sefrou, the DGM said in an orange alert bulletin.
The provinces of Jerada, Taourirt, Figuig and Boulemane will experience, Sunday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, strong gusts of wind (75 to 85 km/h) accompanied by dust storms.
