Heavy Snowfall and Cold Temperatures Sweep Across Morocco Through Sunday

Until Sunday, the weather will be particularly stormy with strong gusts, snowfall, and temperature drops. The announcement was made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) in a special weather bulletin.
Snowfall is expected this Friday in the provinces of Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Tinghir, Midelt, Ifrane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Taza, Taourirt, Guercif, Figuig, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Errachidia and Boulemane, the DGM said in an orange alert.
During the same period, the provinces of Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Midelt and Ifrane will face cold weather with a temperature ranging between -07/-03. The same is true in the provinces of Khénifra, Sefrou, Taza, Taourirt, Guercif, Figuig, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, where the temperature will vary between -03/02 and between 08/13 in the provinces of Errachidia, Jerada, Al Houceima and Boulemane.
Regarding the heavy thunderstorms accompanied by gusts of wind and the risk of hail, they are expected this Friday in the provinces of Figuig, Jerada, Oujda, Berkane, Taourirt, Guercif and Errachidia.
