Heavy Rains and Strong Winds to Hit Multiple Moroccan Regions Wednesday

Several regions in Morocco will be faced with heavy rains tomorrow, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 2 pm to 11 pm, according to a statement from the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
These orange level rains are expected this Wednesday in the provinces of Tanger-Asilah, Fahs-Anjra, Chefchaouen, Ouezzane, Larache and Tétouan, according to a special bulletin from the DGM.
Rains that could reach up to 30 mm are also to be feared during the same period in the provinces of Taounate, Kénitra, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane and the reliefs of Al-Hoceima.
As for the coasts north of Safi, the Rif, the Middle Atlas and the Oriental, they will be affected by fairly strong gusts of wind reaching 70 km/h during the same day.
