Heat Wave Hits Morocco: Temperatures Soar to 44°C in Southeast Regions

Temperatures will rise this Sunday, June 28, in several Moroccan regions, according to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) in its daily bulletin.
It is thus expected to be hot weather in the Southeast and South and quite hot in the Oriental, the Rif, the Souss and locally in the regions located west of the Atlas, specifies DMN.
In terms of temperatures, it will be 15 to 20 degrees on the reliefs, 17 to 22 degrees in the North, the Center, the Oriental and the north of the southern provinces and 22 to 28 degrees in the Southeast and the south of the Saharan provinces.
In the afternoon, it is expected to be 40 to 44 degrees in the Southeast and the southern provinces, 35 to 39 degrees in the Rif, the Oriental, the Souss, the interior of the Gharb and the regions west of the Atlas and 25 to 28 degrees near the coasts.
