Hanger Manufacturer Erum Expands Moroccan Factory, Creating 400 New Jobs in Tangier

The Erum group, a specialist in the manufacture of plastic hangers, has strengthened its presence in Morocco by expanding its factory in Tangier. The inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday in the presence of the authorities and the group’s managers.
With a total cost of 235 million DH, this extension will allow the company to double its production capacity and reach 202 million units per year, in order to meet the needs of the textile and clothing sector in Morocco.
Through this investment, the group ensures the creation of 400 additional jobs, bringing the total workforce to 700. The Moroccan subsidiary thus becoming the largest factory of the group and the largest investment made internationally by Erum Group.
"Thanks to this investment, Erum fully covers the needs of the Moroccan textile ecosystem in hangers and is moving towards Industry 4.0 by equipping itself with an automatic and semi-automatic hanger production process with high-precision equipment," said Minister Ryad Mezzour, present at the ceremony.
