The controversy sparked by the case of the Kuwaiti pedophile would have the merit of denouncing sex tourism, a social phenomenon that is growing in Marrakech and other tourist cities in Morocco.
The Moroccan Association for Human Rights, during a media meeting organized on Friday, February 21, shed light on the case of the Kuwaiti pedophile as well as the sex tourism rampant in the ochre city, in relation to the Gulf nationals.
The particularity that draws attention in all the cases mentioned by the association is the abandonment of legal proceedings against the Khalijis, caught in the act of prostitution and debauchery in villas and residences set up for this purpose.
In return for substantial bail, the latter are granted provisional release allowing them to leave the national territory with impunity, while the young girls are incarcerated, reports the site Aljarida24.
Since 2010, the modus operandi of luxury pimping networks has undergone a notable transition, avoiding urban agglomerations and modifying the means of communication.
Accompanied by 22 young Moroccan girls and several pimps, an Emirati singer and his entourage had been caught in the act in a villa in the Palmeraie of Marrakech, rented for 22,000 dirhams per day, before leaving Morocco during their provisional release. The girls had received 2 months in prison and the pimps, prosecuted for human trafficking and sexual enslavement.
The preparation of the naughty appointments is ensured by the pimps, who substitute for social networks to find the ideal prey for the Gulf predators. Each intermediary has a directory of more than 1,500 telephone contacts, which undergo progressive selective phases.
After an initial sorting, the pimp makes the selected group undergo a "casting", a form of slave parade, which takes place in the presence of the Khaliji clients. The rejection is called "Rivoli", where the girl receives a small financial compensation.
