Gulf Clubs Eye Ziyech as Galatasaray Exit Looms

The future of Hakim Ziyech, the Moroccan international playing at Galatasaray, is more uncertain than ever. Rumors announce a likely departure of the player as early as this winter. Several clubs, particularly in the Gulf, would already be in the running to secure the services of the midfielder.
Galatasaray would not oppose Ziyech’s departure and would even seek to facilitate his transfer during the next winter transfer window. It must be said that the player seems to be in disgrace with his coach, Okan Buruk. A "great tension", according to Turkish journalist Haluk Yürekli, would have led to Ziyech’s exclusion from the first team.
This situation has attracted the attention of several clubs, particularly in the Gulf. However, the player’s salary demands could cool the ardor of certain European clubs, notably Rennes. At 31 years old, Ziyech has only played five games this season under the colors of Galatasaray, providing one assist. A meager record for one who had joined the Turkish club from Chelsea with great ambitions.
It should be recalled that Ziyech had initially been loaned to Galatasaray by the London club, before the Istanbul club exercised the purchase option. An investment that could ultimately fall through if the Atlas Lion were to leave Turkey in the coming weeks. His notable absence from the latest gatherings of the Moroccan national team shows the difficulties the player has encountered in recent months, when he was previously one of the most important elements.
