Grave Robbers Target Christian Cemetery in Casablanca for Precious Metals

A gang has just been dismantled in Casablanca. It was active in desecrating the tombs of Christian people, not for necromantic purposes... But for the gold and precious metals that are buried with the bodies of the deceased.
Thus, according to Assabah, for more than a year these tomb robbers have been digging, removing the wooden coffins, and looking for the jewelry they could take, in the Christian cemetery located on Mehdi Ben Barka Avenue in Casablanca.
However, these profanations had initially been incomprehensible before the arrest of one of the thieves who explained what it was all about and gave the names of his accomplices. The motive for the theft was only then understood. Who knows what hypotheses had been previously considered.
In addition, Assabah explains that everything was taken, even the padlocks and anything made of more or less precious metal. Then they sold their loot to interested parties, including a goldsmith.
The investigation continues in order to arrest all those involved. Three members have been arrested and the fourth is still actively being sought, having fled as soon as he learned that his accomplices had been arrested.
