Drug Gang Storms Moroccan Police Station to Free Detained Woman

Several members of a gang specializing in drug trafficking have invaded a police station in the city of Salé to free a woman who was being held in custody, according to some media sources.
According to Fesnews, which refers to its own sources, "the family members of a notorious drug trafficker" (according to other sources it would be the family known as Awlad Toufaha) carried out, this Monday, an assault on a police station in the city of Salé, more precisely in Sidi Moussa, in order to free a woman who was being held in custody there.
These individuals took advantage of the presence of only two agents at the police station to invade it, armed with bladed weapons. And having neutralized the agents on site, the same source specifies that they did not succeed in freeing the woman they had come to forcibly release and had to flee before, because the reinforcements were arriving anyway.
After that, the latter fled to an unknown destination and the police services in the city have been on alert since then to get their hands on them. The anti-gang brigade as well as intervention units would also be on the case.
Other media (such as Alassima24, which cites its own security sources) specify that if the agents on site did not use their service weapons, it is because... They didn’t have any.
