Goalless and tasteless draw between Morocco and Mauritania

The Atlas Lions failed to roar against the Mourabitounes this Tuesday evening in Agadir. The friendly match between the two teams ended in a goalless draw (0-0).
From the kick-off, Walid Regragui’s men ran into a well-organized Mauritanian defensive block. The Moroccans multiplied the offensives, but without managing to find the opening. Brahim Diaz and his teammates in particular lacked luck in front of the opposing goal.
The Mourabitounes, well grouped in defense, managed to thwart the plans of the Moroccan attackers. The changes made by Regragui in the second half also did not make it possible to make the difference. Ilias Akhomach and Youssef En-Nessyri, who came on as substitutes, failed to deceive the vigilance of the Mauritanian goalkeeper.
This draw is a poor performance for the Atlas Lions, who had narrowly won against Angola (1-0) last Friday. The national coach is still struggling to find the perfect combination to really open the scoring.
