Global Sextortion Ring Uncovered: Moroccan Man Arrested for Blackmailing 500 Victims Worldwide

These are victims from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, but also from Italy, Great Britain and even Hong Kong, and then from many other countries, that this blackmailer was able to defraud, according to the media, Le360. This 24-year-old Moroccan appeared on Monday, June 24, 2019, before the Court of First Instance of El Jadida, prosecuted for fraud, scam and sexual blackmail, via social networks. He first pretended to be a young, virtuous girl, according to the same source, before raising the temperature.... Then he filmed his very numerous victims in compromising positions, before asking them for money, threatening to disclose the said videos.

His arrest was carried out on Saturday, June 22, 2019, by the Judicial Police of El Jadida. He was not operating from this city but from Oued Zem. That’s where he asked people to send him the money. More than one million dirhams were earned by this individual. And the police found more than 500 videos on his computer during his arrest.

It should be noted that this arrest was made possible thanks to a businessman from the Gulf, who was not trapped, but one of his friends. The latter is a Saudi who was at the mercy of the blackmailer. According to Le360, he "kept blackmailing him". A complaint was therefore filed. The police services were able to trace back to the individual in question, who was finally arrested.
