Moroccan Man Sentenced for Online Marriage Scam and Blackmail Scheme

A man has just been sentenced to three years in prison in Settat for charges of indecent assault under threat, fraud and blackmail. He was posing as an MRE. And he promised marriage to young girls...

His victim would have believed his lies. He claimed he was a Moroccan living in Canada and that he wanted to take a wife. And he wasn’t looking for a Canadian or Western wife... But a Moroccan one. And she believed him.

Today Le Maroc writes: "She blindly believed his words to the point of stripping naked, at his request, in front of the camera of his smartphone. From there he kept blackmailing her. First, he started asking her for money while threatening to post the compromising videos on social media." And then he asked her to have sex, according to the same media, which adds: "She gave in to him again."

He was asking for too much, which made the young lady tell her parents, who in turn informed the authorities
