General’s Driver Arrested in Morocco for Alleged Rape and Blackmail

The elements of the judicial police arrested and then placed in custody the driver of a general in Témara, for his alleged involvement in a case of rape and kidnapping. The victim is the wife of his boss’s son.
More in-depth investigations were needed for the elements of the judicial police to succeed in solving this case. The facts took place at the general’s home. The driver, a 25-year-old man, was blackmailing the wife of his absent boss’s son sexually, reports Al Akhbar. He threatened his victim with revealing professional secrets and information concerning the general’s family.
The elements of the judicial police were able to arrest the suspect. During his interrogation, he confessed. On Sunday, he was brought before the Attorney General of the King near the Court of Appeal of Rabat. The man is being prosecuted for assault and battery, rape under threat and kidnapping.
