Galatasaray’s Ziyech Calls for End to Violence Against Palestinians
Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech has once again displayed his support for Palestine on his Instagram account. His post follows the war waged by Israel in the Gaza Strip for more than a year.
The video shared by the Galatasaray player shows an Israeli soldier brutally assaulting a Palestinian child in a store. The accompanying message is unequivocal: "Stop the terror."
This is not the first time Ziyech has expressed his solidarity with the Palestinian people. He had already publicly criticized the responsibility of several countries, including Morocco, in what he had described as "support for genocide". This strong stance had then provoked strong reactions and even a supposed expulsion from the Moroccan team.
Hakim Ziyech, who has made history in Moroccan football during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, continues to engage in support of the Palestinian cause, despite the controversies.
