Galatasaray Star Belhanda Rejects Pay Cut, Future in Doubt

The contract of the Moroccan international, Younès Belhanda, may not be renewed for the next season at Galatasaray. He is said to have refused to lower his annual salary from 3.3 million to 1.5 million euros.
This attitude of the Atlas Lion puts him in an uncomfortable position in his club, which could terminate his contract that still runs until the end of June, reports Yeniakit.
With 8 goals and 3 assists in 26 games, the 31-year-old Moroccan player could be replaced by the Parisian midfielder, Julian Draxler.
The Turkish club is currently leading the Spor Toto Süper Lig with 54 points collected in 25 rounds (17 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses).
