Galatasaray Players Quarantined After Coach Tests Positive for Coronavirus

The president of the Turkish football club, Galatasaray, has decided not to take any risks with the coronavirus. He has placed all the players in quarantine, especially since the team’s coach has just been confirmed positive for the virus.
The proximity between the coach and the players has forced the management to impose confinement, forcing them to separate from their families for a minimum period of 14 days.
Younes Belhanda is the second Atlas Lion to be placed in quarantine, joining his compatriot, Sofiane Amrabat, who is already subject to similar measures, following the Covid-19 infection of a player from the Hellas Verona team.
According to statements by the Turkish Minister of Health, the country has recorded 1,529 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 37 deaths. The minister has called on young people, urging them to protect themselves and take more precautions.
