Moroccan Futsal Team Cleared After COVID-19 Scare Following Croatia Trip

The players of the national futsal team have all tested negative for COVID-19, after traveling with a passenger carrying the coronavirus, returning from a tournament in Croatia.
All the futsal players are safe and sound. Their tests came back negative. After 14 days of observation, the players and technical staff of the national futsal team are healthy after returning from a trip to Croatia. It was the presence on their flight of a passenger carrying the coronavirus that triggered the psychosis within the team. This situation even forced the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) to impose a period of isolation on the players.
Hicham Dkik, coach of the national team interviewed, confirmed the information to the newspaper Assabah. He was pleased that all the players tested negative. The players and technical staff are still confined to their homes despite the isolation period.
A quick end to confinement should allow the start of preparations for the Futsal World Cup team, scheduled for September and October in Lithuania, the coach hoped. In the same vein, the national futsal team will face Spain in July and Portugal in August, after the cancellation of the friendly match against Argentina due to the coronavirus.
