Gala Match Honors Late Moroccan Soccer Star Mbarek El Filali in Dordogne, France

The former players of Trélissac and the former Moroccan internationals will meet this Saturday, June 4 at the Firmin-Daudou stadium in Trélissac (Dordogne) to pay tribute to the former Moroccan player Mbarek El Filali, who died in 2021.
The organizers of this gala match between the Trélissacois and the former Moroccan internationals, already announce that there will be emotion this Saturday, June 4. Scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m., this match aims to honor the memory of Mbarek El Filali, who passed away on November 27, 2021.
Throughout his international career, this former Atlas Lion passed through Périgueux, Trélissac, Chancelade, COC Chamiers, among others. Those who crossed paths with him in these different clubs have a very good memory of him. "He was humble, kind. He taught us a lot when he arrived: seriousness, rigor, the desire to win, technique. What was most impressive was his jump," recalls Isauro De Oliveira, the president of the association of former Trélissac players.
The relatives, as well as the four children of Mbarek El Filali will be present at the stadium and the entire proceeds (admission is 5 euros) will be donated to them. "With the big weekend, not everyone will be able to be there, but I’ve already received donations," says one of the organizers.
