Gad Elmaleh Postpones Sold-Out Tour Amid COVID-19 Uncertainties
After overcoming hospitalization due to a complication related to Covid-19, Gad Elmaleh is once again facing a sad ordeal. This time, it is not a health problem, fortunately.
It is the postponement of his tour due to the health crisis. This postponement, the artist regretfully announced in an Instagram post.
"It is with immense regret that we are forced to postpone the tour of my new show ’D’ailleurs’ which was to begin on September 8," he said.
"All the cities were sold out, I was so looking forward to seeing you again. The many uncertainties in the current health context do not allow us to take responsibility for bringing the public and the teams together in the venues," he continued. "I hope to see you again soon. Postponed shows."
Gad Elmaleh is giving an appointment to his fans in 2021.
But the postponement of this tour does not prevent him from organizing a few small shows like the one he performed in Toulouse, as a preview of a single and an album, with three jazz musicians.
The happy father of two children, the second of whom was born from his relationship with Charlotte Casiraghi, has taken up some pieces by the late Claude Nougaro.
