Gad Elmaleh Emotional Over Tour Delays and Plagiarism Claims, Criticizes COVID Restrictions

Gad Elmaleh was on the verge of tears when discussing not only the plagiarism allegations, but also the health crisis, which led to the postponement of his tour.
The Moroccan-born comedian is struggling with the continued closure of cultural spaces. He does not understand this decision.
"We cannot be blamed for being surprised: from the start of France, there are planes that fly six, seven hours without a mask to eat," said the actor.
"Are you also going to Martinique? Oh yes, you too? Have you had the vaccine?" ironizes the artist who is offering an album of covers of Claude Nougaro’s songs. "The plane, closed, 6-7 hours of flight, but at the theater, no! At the theater, we have the mask, we laugh, it’s the only risk of spitting."
