Fully Vaccinated Moroccan Expats Face Quarantine Confusion Despite New Travel Rules

The entry into force of the new updates to the B list, requiring the removal of the quarantine for travelers from these countries, is diversely appreciated by hotels, leading to a confusing situation. MREs who meet the conditions are still being prevented from leaving by security guards.
Incomprehension and consternation. One of them, contacted by Médias24, is alerting the authorities of the ministry in charge of MREs for, he says, a clarification on the situation.
"This morning, following the entry into force of the new updates, we (a group of people in the same situation) wanted to leave the hotel to join our families. The hotel agreed to check out and refund us the remaining nights, except that the security guards are preventing us from doing so," he said.

But to his surprise, he adds, "they say they have not received any note that allows them to let us leave the hotel, and that we are not affected by these new decisions."
According to the same source, "the problem also arises in other hotels in Casablanca, where fights have broken out and security has been reinforced."
