Morocco Mandates Paid Hotel Quarantine for Travelers from High-Risk Countries

Payment of the 10-day hotel quarantine is now mandatory for travelers arriving from a List B country in Morocco. This is what should be remembered after updating the entry conditions into Moroccan territory.
Morocco is tightening the conditions for entering its territory. In a message posted on social media on Tuesday, June 22, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad announced the new requirements for entering Morocco from List B countries.
Travelers from List B must present a PCR test less than 48 hours old at boarding, a signed sworn declaration for a 10-day quarantine and a voucher confirming the payment of 10 days of quarantine in one of the hotels designated by the Moroccan authorities.
This week, several cases of [Covid-19 contamination] were detected among travelers from List B countries (Middle East or Gulf), placed in a 10-day quarantine.
