Fuel Prices Surge in Morocco: Diesel and Gasoline See Significant Hike

Moroccan motorists had a bad surprise when arriving at the service stations this Wednesday. Fuel prices have once again risen.
As of this morning, Moroccans will pay more to obtain diesel and gasoline. The price of a liter of diesel will see a slight increase of about 30 cents, while the price of a liter of gasoline will increase by about 50 cents, depending on the distributors, according to data collected from the National Federation of Owners, Merchants and Managers of Service Stations in Morocco (FNPCGS) by Le360. These increases will be more significant in the service stations of certain cities of the kingdom due to the cost of transport and the distance.
In Casablanca, the liter of diesel currently costs around 11.70 dirhams at Afriquia, 11.68 dirhams at Winxo and Petrom stations, and 11.73 dirhams at TotalEnergies and Shell service stations. As for the price of unleaded gasoline, it is set at around 13.96 dirhams at Afriquia, 13.93 at Petrom and 14.01 dirhams at Winxo, TotalEnergies and Shell stations.
