A Frenchman throws a suspicious box in Agadir: the police find a human skull there

The alert was given by residents of the Adrar neighborhood. These witnesses saw an individual drop a suspicious box next to a waste container. Intrigued by this behavior, they immediately alerted the authorities. The police officers dispatched to the scene secured the perimeter and seized the box, which did in fact contain human remains.

A French suspect quickly identified

The initial investigations made it possible to identify and arrest the suspect very quickly. He is a French national who previously resided in the Mohammadi neighborhood before recently settling in Tikiouine.

The man is currently being questioned under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office. Investigators and scientific teams are now trying to determine the origin of these bones and the motivations of the accused. The investigation will have to establish whether this is a case of homicide or if these remains were held and used for other purposes.
