French Singer Slimane Rebukes TV Host Over Morocco-Algeria Comparison

French singer of Algerian origin Slimane is angry with famous French host Yves Calvi after a remark about Morocco and Algeria.
"For the grouches who are worried about possible outbursts in France, let’s remember that Morocco is not Algeria. Moroccans are exactly like us in 1998. They have been waiting for so long for a great victory of their team." These words spoken on the BFMTV airwaves by the famous French host Yves Calvi, before the kick-off of the semi-final match between the Atlas Lions and the Blues provoked a reaction from the French singer of Algerian origin Slimane. On his Instagram account, the interpreter of "claquer la porte" (slam the door) expressed his anger. "But always more...", he displays in a story.
After losing the semi-final match against France, Morocco faced Croatia this Saturday, December 17, 2022 for the third place match (2-1 in favor of the Croats). As for the Blues, they will face Argentina tomorrow, Sunday, in the hope of winning a second consecutive World Cup.
