French Psychologist Found Dead in Moroccan Home, Apparent Suicide

Drama in Essaouira where a French national who had been living there for many years was found in her home. She is believed to have committed suicide.
The lifeless body of this professional psychologist was discovered by her neighbors. The neighbors, shocked by this macabre discovery, alerted the authorities.
Once on the scene, the judicial police officers had to force the door of the apartment. Inside, the outcome was bitter: the psychologist’s body was hanging, however without any trace that could indicate probable violence.
From the police investigation, it appears that the deceased was a sexagenarian of French origin, a professional psychologist, divorced and the mother of a 30-year-old son.
Transferred to the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah hospital for the purposes of the autopsy, the remains will be repatriated to France for the funeral. The French Consulate and the family of the deceased have already been informed.
