French Politicians Condemn Radio Station’s Censorship of Morocco-Israel Normalization Coverage

Saying she was shocked by the sanction of Rose Ameziane and Malik Yettou, two presenters of "L’Actu autrement" on Beur FM who were preparing a "special" program on the agreement to normalize diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel, Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Regional Council, believes it is important to talk about it.
"The reconciliation of Morocco and Israel is a diplomatic act so full of the hope of peace! It must be talked about," she wrote on her Twitter account in support of the two sanctioned presenters. Xavier Bertrand, former minister, president of the Hauts de France region, also expressed his support for them. He condemned the sanction of the two presenters and the censorship of their program.
At the origin of this sanction, a meeting between Rose Ameziane and Malik Yettou, and the Israeli ambassador to France, Daniel Saada. After this meeting, the two presenters were preparing a "special" program on the agreement to normalize diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel. An initiative disapproved of by Djima Kettane, director of Beur FM.
