French Drug Trafficking Suspect Arrested at Morocco-Spain Border Crossing

Moroccan agents arrested a French drug trafficker, wanted by the authorities in his country, on Saturday at Bab Sebta as he was trying to enter Ceuta.
The defendant was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the French judicial authorities for international drug and arms trafficking and membership in a criminal group. The 36-year-old French national was arrested as he was leaving Morocco for Ceuta, reports El Faro de Ceuta.
During the verification of his identity, the Moroccan border agents discovered that the criminal was the subject of an international arrest warrant and proceeded to arrest him. The accused was placed in custody, pending his extradition to France.
