TiVi 5 Monde, the channel dedicated to children aged 4-14, was officially launched on Wednesday in Morocco. It is available on the Arabsat Badr 26° East satellite, which has the exclusive rights in the Maghreb and Middle East.

The new edutainment channel offers Moroccan children free access to animated films, educational programs, children’s series, magazines covering science, health...

"TiVi5 Monde broadcasts the best of French-speaking creation, especially from France and Quebec." The latter represent about 12% of our programming, said Yves Bigot, CEO of TV5 Monde, during the launch ceremony.

"This channel can be used by teachers. It allows children to continue learning French at home with programs adapted to each age group from 4 to 14 years old," he specified. And he added that TiVi5 Monde also attracts adults.
